Italian Massage Contest Receives Moral Patronage from the Municipality of Salerno

The Municipality of Salerno has granted its free moral patronage to the Italian Massage Contest, the international massage championship that held its first edition in the city in February 2026.

The request, filed last November, was approved through an official letter dated December 3, 2025, signed by Mayor Vincenzo Napoli and addressed to the event's organization.

This recognition comes alongside another mark of appreciation received in recent months: the Scuola Medica Salernitana — the historic institution that shaped the history of Western medicine — expressed its support for the initiative through a direct communication to the organizers.

Both acknowledgments confirm the increasingly strong bond between the Italian Massage Contest and the city of Salerno, which is set to host the event again for its second edition, scheduled for February 6-7, 2027.

"A patronage is, above all, an act of trust," the Italian Massage Contest organization commented. "We hope to renew it for future editions as well, continuing to build, together with the local community, an event that establishes Salerno as an international point of reference for the world of massage."
